This script is intended for use with the psyBNC scripting mechanism, to provide a different way to manage and automatically accept some kind of DCC send request from other IRC clients.
It replaces the buggy DCC interface offered by psyBNC.

DCCgetter supports:

• policies to accept/reject file transfers, based on python regexps
• resuming files
• locking output files
• guessing sender's host if the transfer fails with the address provided in the dcc request
• configurable number of retries if the peer refuses our connection
• logging to the psyBNC query
• file transfer statistics
• adjustable timeouts for network operations
